Cite your sources using the reference tag:

This is sample text with a citation<ref>This is a cited source example</ref>.

Using the reference tag in your article, as shown in the example above, will create superscript reference numbers in the body of the article. The citation text will appear where you place the following reference template:

{{reflist}}

It is common practice to add a "References" header to the above template, like this:

== References ==
{{reflist}}

References will then appear as they do at the bottom of this page.

Fact Template

The fact template can be inserted in articles to identify sentences or short passages which are incomplete without an inline citation. The fact template looks like this:

This sentence needs an inline citation.[citation needed]

Citing Sources

  1. Web Citation: Doe, John (Date). "URL with hyperlink." Title of article. Publisher. Retrieved Date.
  2. Book Citation: Doe, John (Year). Title of the Book. Publisher. ISBN 12-34-56789-0.
  3. News Citation: "Title of Report", News Organization, (Date). Retrieved on Date.

These examples look like this when you use the reference tags:
